About a week ago today, I returned to my new house 700 miles away from my old home. I was in New York for Comic Con and I was able to see all of my friends whom I haven't seen for a while. While I still miss my home state very much, seeing how nothing has dramatically changed gave me a slight push into drawing again. While my creative drive is still pretty dormant since all I have in mind is fan art, it's still better than no motivation at all.
Another big thing that inspired for me to keep drawing is the NYCC event itself. Never in my life have I been in a room flooded with so much positive energy and love than the RWBY Volume 3 panel, and the loss of Monty Oum, yet seeing his work still move on and his friends and co workers continuing to bring it to fruition probably enhanced that experience greatly.
Currently, my surprise video for Bunny Kingdom, which will be posted on my art blog on Tumblr, since about 80 out of the 200 or so previous fans have their own art blogs there and follow me, is about 50% done. Right now I am in the line art and coloring stage, and although I have most of the basic scenes blocked out, it's gonna be a LOT of work inking and coloring them all decently enough.
I hope I can get the wheels turning some more and actually pump out legit works soon.
